I had hoped to start this blog earlier- take you step by step through the fun and , well, not fun, of what it is to be a sixty year old woman who finally gets to fulfill a fifty year dream of joining Peace Corps. As it is  I am leaving for Staging- the first of many Peace Corps words and acronyms I will be throwing out there- in a week, Before then I will be flying from my home in Colorado to visit my elder daughter in NYC and then leaving with a group of 60 volunteers for Ukraine. I think that is all for now- I am still packing a 27 month chunk of life in to two 50 pound bags and a carry on. I am feeling more and more like the man I saw carry on a small heating stove as his carry on while flying BalkanAir from NYC to Sofia in the late nineties. But that is another story. до побачення for now. And here is some Ukrainian awesomeness to bring you back for more
